IMO Between the Buried and Me tries to make deep music but simply fails at it most of the time. Objectively this album would seem really good, but its so repetitive and the parts that were supposed to be good are either over done or under done. I can't even say. All I know is that during the second half of the album, each song became worse and worse until I could not stop thinking how shitty of an album this is. Swim to the Moon is the only song I actually enjoy. Just my opinion though; I do wish I could enjoy it like many do.

I like some of it, but oh man how much better it could be compressed into a 4 minute song. If BTBAM compressed this whole album into separate songs that have actual central themes and leave out the bullshit repetitiveness, this album would be killer.
