some will seek forgiveness is one of the few songs off tocs i come back to but thats mostly as a big fan of all things aaron marsh. when the whole band comes in towards the end it definitely drops off
other than that, i jam dangerous business receptive and content w losing. crowbar is a better song than anything on the album tho and i wish it had been written a little earlier so it coulda made it

"Replace Down Set Go with Boy Brushed Red and thats my list."
Yeah leaving Brushed Red off that list is criminal. Also both CotP and TCoT go hard af even though they might as well be by a different band.

No idea how I could forget Boy Brushed Red. Yeah that song rules, but I'd probably still place it in the #6 spot

Dangerous Business is one of their top 10 best songs ever. I still love almost all of TOCS though, some albums just can’t get old for me

New single, I’m kinda scared to listen to it. It’s called “Damn Excuses”, which sounds like a Shinedown song title or something

it is good, very Disambiguation-esque

It sounds a lot better musically for sure but the title/lyrics are rather eye-rolling. They're still trying too hard to be edgy

that is very true but tbh I will take good music and bad lyrics over bad music and bad lyrics, which is what Erase Me is

I would actually pay money for Underoath to do a self-censored version of their upcoming album, that would be hilarious

“seeing people get angry that underoath swears now is funny tbh”
It’s not really the fact that they curse at all imo it’s that their lyrics in general have dived into edgy teen angst with no subtlety at all and the swearing just makes it seem more over the top, it’s not very flattering
