Yeah it's good, actually bumping it right now and I'm enjoying it more than I remembered. Not debating that at all, but I don't get this "most important hip-hop album of the 21st century" stuff.
Based on what?
Taking a good set of ideas and executing them properly is great and all, but I don't see how Kendrick hasn't done that on his last album. I also don't see how other hip-hop acts didn't do that in the last years. (The Roots for example)
Also the execution is FAR from flaweless. (U, Alright, For Sale is suuuuuuch a weak middle section for example)

This has grown off me slightly over the course of the year I must admit. Still really dig it though.
I will say that when it comes to this album's reception, one thing that is more annoying than the overhyping of its importance is the people who use the fact that it isn't as important as many hype it up to be as the main factor for judging the album.
