I openly admit my limited level of DM knowledge (& in general) so it’s cool.

I really like how the dissonance in the first song is coupled with melody. It sounds extremely sorrowful. There's a lot of passion in Luc's vocals. Especially the ''Leading to divine inspiration!'' part. He's a great songwriter as I mentioned on the previous page. Something metal lacks nowadays in my view. People can do what they want, ofc, but endless wanking and uninspired songwriting gets super lame when everybody is doing it.

endless walking and uninspired songwriting is terrible regardless of how many peo[ple are doing it. Genius is oft imitated

I haven't seen many imitating Luc's songwriting and purposeful playing.

well this album's lyrical content is based on monks that used to practice self immolation. im gonna pretend idk what immolation means and conflate it with masturbation.

so yes, zen monks indeed masturbate in accordance with the prophet luc lemay, dont @ me.

It's pretty much about the monks culture and life in the first half but after the Battle of Chamdo instrumental the album explores the violence and slaughter of Tibetan monks at the hands of the Chinese.

So it's basically all about more or less violent masturbation. Cool.
