I always thought the fact I enjoyed this was somewhat of a 'quirk'... it just didn't really make sense in the grand scheme of whatever my taste was/is. Well it looks like this is finally playing out the way I would've expected, an example of self-fulfilling prophecy, or simply ever-changing taste? No idea.
This is only entertaining in extremely small doses now, as it gets very tiresome after a while. I must admit that despite the ludicrous levels of cheese both Bloodmeat and Wretch get a pass as I can appreciate them as individual tracks (helps that the former is the opener), but this is over-the-top to the point of nausea.
