Yup, this was a great high school jam. I actually listened to it for the first time on an airplane while reading some Stephen King book, best flight ever

My first touch with Opeth was with Heritage, in senior high school, while reading Stephen King... Parallel lives, as it seems.

this was my first Opeth album, back in hs when I was maybe 15-16. reminds me of listening to it with my buddy during those cold winter nights in the park, when the bars would close and we had nowhere else to go. I lived in a little town, where you really couldn't do much else on weekends besides getting drunk af. luckily me and my friends were all into similar music, so we'd just buy as much of cheap alcohol as we could, find a good spot outside and rock out to some metal classics haha. good times.
