kurt wasnt the sole producer until no heroes, he's said in interviews he would like to remaster older converge records as well

I’d obv listen to a Jane Doe remaster but I don’t think it needs it, and Petitioning and WFCC already got remasters

secretly think there's a better jane doe out there, tho I think the collateral damage is less, and sense of "this is how this album is meant to be" more, than this album (which I think really really needed a remaster). just love that atf/awlwlb production style

One of my all time faves and I never realized that Hope Street clocks in at just 1:07 lol. A song that short has no business being that fucking good

hope street is awesome, yeah, and it leads perfectly into the stop-n-start heartless rhythm, which then leads so well into that full-bodied sprint, etc.

Heartless and You Fail Me are some of Converges best but I like In Her Shadow the most off this album probably. It is so unsettling yet brilliant too.

as much as I like the remaster, the rawer production of the original just kinda works in it's favor. I would even go as far and say I like this more Jane Doe as my favorite Converge record.

“In her shadow” is my lowlight. Amazing album, prefer the redux but respect to those who stick with the OG

the redux having wolves at my door is a point in it's favor

yeah I've done a 180o ^ and now think this may be the best version. The og production certainly awards this a unique placement in their discog, whereas as nice as the harder hitting redux is, it almost renders it 'just another Converge album' - which is great obviously because duh Converge, but still.
