I don’t think many people will want to admit it but I was jamming Hail to the King today (don’t ask why) and I think it’s got the best production by a mile. I think this record sounds fine especially since it’s so different for them, but god, the Stage and Nightmare would sound so much better with that punchier mix.

oh i definitely agree about the prod, HTTK is carried by that punchy mix, probably why i still have a soft spot for it, Nightmare sounds completely fine but The Stage does feel weirdly thin
this album's 5 status will be held off until i get a daft punk release in my 5s
