just because it's one of those albums that's held in super high regard. I guess people are annoyed that a pop punk fan is making claims about a massive post rock epic he hasn't bothered to even try to understand. - not saying that's my view, I'm just assuming that's what other people ITT are thinking.

I don't just like pop punk. I like everything except for country and dubstep which are 2 insignificant forms of music. I have tried to understand it because I have tried to listen to it several times but can't quite grasp it. It's definitely unique but, it's just not that big of a deal to me. Whatever.

Have you listened to some of their tracks from Lift Yr Skinny Fists? It tends to brood less than F#A#, perhaps it might work better for you.
