They're recently trending DM bands, what else needs to be similar? You can compare quality without them sounding alike

Jamming this.

Hypnotic dissonance in harmony.

(Good stuff to listen in a harsh world like now IMO)

Blood Incantation's first record is a dm masterpiece, or at least close to it, but Ulcerate releases albums deserving of that status on a seemingly regular basis, so they'd certainly be a 'notch above'.

@Irony: why are you claiming all DM vox have the same level of accessibility. But yeah these guys are possibly a tougher nut to crack all-round.

Also, can we stop pretending people don’t have a right to dislike this? Lol.

You're wrong if you don't like this album. It's like a series of woodcuts with oddly-similar motifs. You think "Astroflux" was supposed to be "The Black Keys Are Stone Cold Dumb" but it doesn't really work so well there. Don't get me wrong, it's more of the same: pretty minor-key and with throwback influences and plodding tempos, but the songs hold together well enough. Really, they're very good, not the best shit ever, but they're not bad either. Actually, the only real complaint is that "Surfin' USA" is a little too poppy and I wish they'd be a bit less mysterious.

That ass is on fire.

Her asshole might burn as fast as her cheeks.

You are her asshole,

And you are her pink orifice.

Burn.

She burned.

You kissed her with her asshole on fire.

Burn.

You kissed her with her asshole on fire.

Burn.

And you kissed her with her asshole on fire.

Burn.

You kissed her with her asshole on fire.

Burn.

You kissed her with her asshole on fire.

Burn.

You kissed her with her asshole on fire.

Burn.

This is the shit you're smoking.

Have some humility, or as Christ says, "Throw away your nets and your netsprings in a watertight vessel; and cast away the coracle, and the sleight of hand, and the name that pertaineth to spellcrafts, and come forth: for the adversary that is at hand seeketh that which is sown in man, and after that which is cast into the earth."
