This is a great album, but I've always felt that it's less cohesive than their other ones.

I don't know, Aenima feels quite incohensive too due to all the random interludes, at least compared to Lateralus.

I think Vicarious and Jambi go very well with each other, also Intension and Right In Two have a nice epic feel of closure to them. It's all over the place in the middle for sure, but I still think it's not as incohensive as some people seem to think. But yeah, maybe Aenima's a little bit more cohensive. I still like this more though, but it's close.

Really, all of Tool's albums are better than 95% of everything else out there. But I enjoy this more than Lateralus these days. Aenima will always be their magnum though.

Tool's records are still as magical today as the first time I listened to them way back when. This one being no exception.

I really wish they'd release a new record soon.
