I'm getting lees enthusiastic about this everyday. I don't know if I even really consider this a 3.5, and it started out as strooong 4.5 for me.

Joesmoe, I respect your opinion, but please explain to me the importance of this album. What has it done that others haven't, other than being overhyped to the fucking moon and (very) arguably delivering?

I feel like part of the supposed "importance" of this album stems from people not knowing shit about other hip-hop albums.

And I'm not even saying that this is not an ambitious albums with complex themes and lyrics (and also a pretty varied approach to the instrumentals)

yeah like Jesus Christ how many hip hop have you even listened to make this bold statement... cause I haven't even listened to that many hip hop albums period and I'm not sure I get all the importance this album brings to the table...

sorry for being rude but this album is to hip hop what The Downward Spiral is to Industrial and that sometimes annoy me...

'And I'm not even saying that this is not an ambitious albums with complex themes and lyrics'

I'm not either, but I'm so tired of hearing about how IMPORTANT this album is when most of the themes and ideas are nothing new.
