Yeah I'm not the biggest fan of thrash either. I do like some though, and a good amount of death/thrash.
I do like Dark Angel (budgie mentioned Darkness Descends). Sick band/album, but it certainly isn't gonna do me any good if I'm in the mood for some dm. And I'd take albums like Emerging from the Netherworlds, or Tortured Existence/Epidemic of Violence over Darkness Descends any day.
