I've jammed it more than a few times hoping it would grow, can't bother to jam in full now

Phantom bride sounds like it was made by some overly emotional teenager. The lyrics are trite garbage and I hate the enunciation in the chorus "youuuuuuuu SPEND your life." Also the guitar solo is indeed lame and the breakdown at the end was just thrown on top because reasons

Acid hologram, p/t, title track, and Rubicon are the only songs I revisit from this

It's like they said "hey guys, you know what would go great at the end of this light, airy tune? A totally out of place guitar breakdown

I pretty much agree with gyro on phantom bride

speaking of which hardly any of chino's lyrics grab me at all on this album...

not that they were ever groundbreaking, but he usually at least has a handful of good lines or hooks

good lord, it's amazing what people will infer off a three-word post

I wasn't talking about his opinion, it's the fact that I've read that exact post about 10 times now. it's like we get it, you don't like the song, but it's getting to obsessive territory here and i literally felt like i had accidentally gone to a past page

hide your family, chino moreno

i shouldn't single you out though, really, i feel like this past 50 or so pages have become kind of a loop, on and off, I'm probably a little guilty myself - i know that wasn't the first time i talked about the guitar sound in here
