Oh for sure they are perfectionists but it's been ten years. Nothing takes ten years if you focus everything you have on it. They just can't be arsed, or at least Maynard definitely can't.

The title track is a goat track. It's song writing and passion at it's finest.

Pretty sure the whole band is ready to record except for Maynard, who I think is just insecure about the capabilities his voice has now with age. Even on this record, they had to use a lot of augmentation and effects to make up for his lack of range.

Also agree that Rosetta Stoned and 10,000 days are incredible songs, I love every bit of Stoned too even the weird bits.

They should just break up. Their hearts are definitely not in it and Maynard clearly wants to focus on Puscifer and his wine. Which is fine and good for him! But I wish they'd stop beating around the bush and just fucking end it already.

I always thought Maynards greatest strength was his unusual delivery and various different styles he implemented. He obviously has a great range but I never felt that's what made him amazing.
