I've seen lots of comments complain about his vocals here - on other threads as well

better than his early vox that's for sure. I'd even say this might be peak chuck vox

I used to think they sucked but that was when I literally first started listening to them. Now they rule and I can't see anyone else fitting in.

I like the vocals. Especially on the Painkiller cover. How does he do that!

"Yeah everyone need to stop bitching about the vocals here because they're awesome"
I don't know if that was in part directed at me for one of my comments or just a general statement. To clarify I was just saying that I used to not like the higher pitched vox on here when I first heard this years ago, but after listening to it again, I didn't mind them at all and actually thought they were good.
If that wasn't directed towards me at all then disregard.

Love ya too, Luca! I might have to jam some Death while on this vacation too. Perfect day since it's pouring out.

Hex, I was just going off with someone mentioning that people were saying the vocals sucked or whatnot. I didn't read any comments regarding the vocals at all and I said earlier I hated Chuck's vocal before I started really enjoying the band. I was kind of ignorant to a lot of vocals of bands when I was going into more extreme metal territories. My biggest issue is if I can't like the vocals it's going to be very hard for me to enjoy the bands music unless the vocalist is not the main focus.

You're good Fear I was actually talking to Lucca haha sorry.
I'd mentioned earlier about the vox so I wasn't sure if he was talking about me or if he was just saying that as a general statement. In any event, I was the same way as you, at least with this album. I didn't like the vox. Back then I didn't like any high pitched vox so naturally I was turned off to this. Not an issue now obv but yeah it's def hard/near impossible to enjoy music if you don't like the vocals.

I don't remember if it was you, dude - probably not because I was just referring to a shit ton of people in general and no one person specifically. BUT I'LL GLADLY FIGHT ABOUT IT
Also no to Vektor vocals being in Death, Chuck does just fine on his own thank you very much.
