They *could* have done better before. But like I said, after going 75% buttrock a couple years ago, a dynamic 7-minute post-metal closer with no predictable structure is literally the best case scenario for these guys at this point. I simply can’t be mad about it. The two other singles were decent, probably better than the average Erase Me song

If Too Bright to See Too Loud to Hear and Desolate Earth were merged into one track it would be a better closer than To Whom It May Concern
but that's mostly because the former is the best song the band has ever written

in completion is my fav closer honestly but to whom is def more elaborate and artful than it so makes sense why thats the common pick. too bright to see/desolate earth is also an incredible combo
only heard pneumonia once and dont remember any of it other than my first impressions being that it was good not great but we'll see what album context does for it
