I'd imagine if you can enjoy that record, which takes a technical and relatively progressive approach to dm, you could probably enjoy Ulcerate, who take a similar approach to dm and, on this record, even emphasise melody far more than on their previous releases (which mostly take a more modernist atonal and dissonant approach).

Liking the last Blood Incantation definitely does not guarantee (or even suggest) success with Ulcerate, even in this relatively accessible form. The biggest obstacle will likely be the vocals, with most people who’re unfamiliar to the genre.
Having said that it certainly doesn’t hurt to try.

If he liked Blood Incantation he obviously doesn't have an issue with harsh vocals. This is a lot more dissonant, though.
