So, let's try a different analysis. What's the best song on this bad boy? Go.

Yeah I enjoyed that a lot. Best on this is Pink Rabbits but Humiliation has been hitting me hard lately.

Btw apropos HV and this one someone mentioned the kids and wife are still there but thinking about it it only adds to his problems now. In Boxer he had his partner but in HV it seems now they have kids and the wife has now "grown up" so to speak as a result and she is even making him do even more adult stuff when before they were kinda like partners in crime in trying to escape from the mundane nature of adulthood

I've listened to this so much and just realized I don't even know most of the track names. I really liked the single with the cool video.

I hope on the next record they take that effect off his voice. They've done it for two records plus all their extra songs.

i think Sea of Love might be my favorite here. incidentally it has that same kind of "all is well" attitude that i find in Apartment Story, but from a deliberately more universal point of view. "let's talk about love" basically

Sea of Love or Graceless would be my favorite on here

For me, it would be those two as well as "Don't Swallow the Cap".

The perfect album for an existential crisis

That feeling of being stuck between two extremes and not even knowing who the fuck you are on Don't Swallow The Cap is all too relatable, Matt Berninger is just an amazing lyricist.

My top 5 are Slipped, Humiliation, Demons, Pink Rabbits and This is the Last Time so it just shows the strength of this album that everyone seems to have different favourites

I Need My Girl remains my least favourite song and that's still a decent enough tune

"Hard to Find" needs more love. It's such a perfect closer.
