Yeah man he ran out of ideas lyrically pretty much right after downward spiral, it wasn’t as evident with fragile until later on but In retrospect even the lyrics on that album it’s like wow you have like about 5 super vague lyric templates youve used for your entire career and none of them are good 😂
The benefit of them being so utterly vague is that they are relatable to virtually everyone on the planet tho

The Bends is like Star Wars - a neat, separate entity with lots of explosions but not much plot. And OK Computer is The Empire Strikes Back, more ambitious, more complex, with more loose ends, but ultimately much better
