So hyped, just got tickets to see them at their Soldier Field show with System of a Down.

God I’m eternally jealous of that. Literally my Taylor swift moment. I wish they would make that a tour. I’d gladly dish out $500 if I didn’t have to drive to Chicago and get a hotel room and all that shit

I feel that. driving in and especially a hotel makes it high cost.
Just buying 200s section tickets ran be around $160 a ticket. Decided this will be a buddy of mines wedding gift to him lol.
My gf wanted us to go to MCR there and WOAH those tickets were pricey and soldout instantly. Ended up saying hell no haha.

Also going to the Chicago show. Have not seen a7x in over 10 years, so I am fairly hyped.

You doing 8/31 or 9/1? I missed out buying the 8/31 date, so was pumped when they added a second day.

That first round of tickets vanished into the atmosphere. By the time I was up in queue, there were only $300+ tickets available. Woof. (so 9/1 haha)

Nice! I think I'm waaaay up in 400s. Got them overhang seats.

Stadium shows are the worst. 60% of the seats are a mile from the stage.

buddy and i are debating on whether to go to the a7x one in chicago or the deftones one in toronto (distance is irrelevant as we'd have to fly to both)
i'm heavily leaning a7x but my buddy wants deftones hmmmmmmmmmmmm. complicated cause he's never seen deftones while i've seen them 3 times

Big agree. First time I saw a7x was when they opened for Metallica at Orion fest in NJ and it was standing only. Ever since, it's only been arenas, and the energy has never matched unfort

I debated the same for Deftones, but they're also headlining their own 2025 tour

"Stadium shows are the worst. 60% of the seats are a mile from the stage."
You know, I used to say this but went to Soldier Field this past year for Metallica and Rolling Stones, went to Wrigley for Green Day and went to the Ohio State basketball court for Fall Out Boy and had an awesome time at all of them.

that's very true i just kinda don't want to pay 2024 deftones prices to see them again when i saw them so many times already for like 1/3 of that price. and i've already seen fleshwater live too.
at least in this case i'll get to see system and polyphia too
but at the same time i'm also just far more interested to see a7x than all these bands lmao. still can't believe they never came to the dc/baltimore area on the libad tour cycle.

I think I had significant work conflicts on every viable libad tour date. My neighbor is part of the deathbats club and offered his second ticket to the observatory show they did this past October, but I was stuck in weekend meetings. fml

Got section 207 seats, pretty good. Ashamed to say how much i paid for them
@alex
I’m seeing both next year but im by far more excited for Avenged Sevenfold. They’re not afraid to play new shit. Deftones setlists have been 90% the same for at least the last decade. They hardly material from Ohms or Gore, it’s like they’re afraid nobody will be down with it.

woah, 207 are great... I am 222, straight view, but all the way across the field from them. Oh well.
I was surprised by the price tbh, 222 was like 160 a pop.

Yeah 207 was like $250 after fees, if I’m driving that far I figured I might as well go all the way yknow
