Lol i had the flu yesterday so i missed the game. Caught up on the highlights today.



Game was the best game of the weekend by a mile. And i have determined the following:



1. @slex super happy for you man

2. I’m extremely happy with how this year played out. I said i was not expecting to win this game, but the fact of the matter is that with some key signings and another good draft to hole up some weaknesses we are a legit team.

3. PUKA FUCKING NACUA IS THE FUTURE.

Yeah the Eagles were phoning it in because it was the end of the season and they wanted a better pick in the draft. I mean AJ Brown was 'rested', lol. Seriously did some of those guys realise it was the playoffs? That was an embarrassing playoff showing, all is clearly not right there and you'd imagine Sirianni is a casualty. The players couldn't even do the basics like solid tackling. Also, can't believe the quality of lack thereof re secondary play in these playoffs (the Cowboys were godawful too, amusingly).

And yeah I'm pleased for the Lions and also pleased I spent the most invested time on that game (it was the 'highlight' going in for me), because it was clearly the best of the bunch

Hell of a player and guy, Philly legend and one of the greatest centers in history. HOFer for sure and the Eagles probably retire #62.



Interested to see if Travis also hangs em up after the Chiefs season is over. Would be cool to see them both HOF eligible the same time and if they’d both get in on the same ballot.

Would love to see them both retire so I never have to hear about them again. Can’t stand them

Travis can be a bit overbearing at times. They seem like fine people though

Media has made Travis unlikeable, but Jason seems really cool and not nearly as drawn to the theatrics.

seemed to chill out a little once mahomes started playing (taylor stuff aside)... but yeah i remember the dude being a menace during the alex smith years. think he got multiple personal fouls in that 2016 steelers/chiefs playoff game

Definitely chilled when the Mahomes years came. One of his best moments was looking out for iirc Mecole Hardman after he had a backbreaking turnover in 2021(?) during the postseason. Dude was trying to talk him up, next drive Hardman gets a jet sweep and hauls it for like 60+ yards.



Think the team's struggles this year got to him and he definitely hasn't handled it the best (nor Mahomes for that matter).

He’s also banged the hell up and playing with obvious injuries. His pass drops aren’t helping either.

not sure how to rationalize this. elite regular season team who has lost at home in the wild card 2/3 years. dallas's roster is stacked + pretty much set in stone. say what you will about dak but he's still at the very least a top 3 qb in the nfc and was in the mvp conversation for a lot of this season. head coach is the only thing you can really shake up here to try and maximize this team. feels like the john fox broncos if they didn't fire john fox.
