This is such a consistent album compared to recent hip hop, but agreed that it's not really close to GKMC or TPAB... that said Lust is a top tier Kendrick song. Can't really place why but I never felt more curiosity listening to a track of his on first listen than on that song, and it still keeps that feeling of curiosity/anticipation 3 years later
