90s rh is basically a tossup between how much you like OKC and how low your standards are for all other alt rock

Radiohead will always be a '90s band, partly because 2000 still felt like the tail end of the '90s

Tbh I agree, if only because their 90s albs have much more continuity between each other than everything they've done since. Everything post-OKC feels like it just ~happened for better or worse, in or out of time. The 90s records could only ever have been 90s records

More organic, more cohesive, richer in instrumentation, and once the album is over you feel satisfied, sth that it NEVER happened to me with Kid A

I still can't understand how this is the "poor man's kid a" other than it's technically a b-side compilation. I hope the double album version makes justice to both album and edit the fucking end of "optimistic" because its like the song was keep going and they deliberately cut it there, something that I hate in songs.

I actually agree, Creep is overbloated and overshadows the better songs post ok computer. Especially when Paranoid Android is a faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better song in technical and lyrical terms. It was the 90's answer to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, what the fuck man?

I mean there's a lot of great tracks on here but to me Amnesiac's Morning Bell isn't one of them. Whereas Kid A's grew to be one of the best tracks on that album.

I like it because it makes me cry and it reminds me of my childhood.
