after giving this another listen, I've decided that this is the better between this and the redux. the grittiness and stark emotion on here, and some mixing choices that got screwed on the latter, just can't be beat. one of the most thoroughly unique albums I've ever heard

I love the redux but I'm still shocked how neutered the title track sounds. Like almost every song on that remaster sounds better except for the title track, it's so weird man

Def bungled a couple of things on the redux, especially the climax of “drop out” imho where they seemingly forgot to mix his vocals in, but much prefer it all told
