I don't think "breathing room" is automatically a good thing. Those examples sounded a bit hollowed out to me. I prefer a full sound.

the canyon is raw to the point it hurts the album. no dynamics are perserved when the recording quality is so bad (i really like the album but its not a good example for anything production related)

also i think dynamics mostly comes through in the writing and performance, in which dtgl and the two after it destroys this, plus the tones here are way way better than the buzziness here. having more room for dynamics in the mastering doesn't mean it's more dynamic as a whole

It's the same reason why remastering albums that are older generally leads to bad results unless the person knows what they're doing. Living Colour's "Vivid" sounded far better in its original format, as did Megadeth's "Rust in Peace" (OH GOD FUCK THAT REMASTER)

Just the campaign but MW2 will always be my favorite COD campaign.

I wish it had the multiplayer exactly like how it was 10 years ago. I even miss the shitshow that was the lobbies.

"I wish it had the multiplayer exactly like how it was 10 years ago."

Knowing Activision and their bourgeois shit, they'd pull an MWR and add new guns that weren't in the original in some lootbox hellhole. I'm actually thankful they didn't bother with that. Just bring more MW2 maps to the 2019 reboot is how I feel about it. They did it with Rust...why not others?
