I’m down here naked.

There’s a hole in my chest.

Both my arms are broken.

Pointing east to west.

Mother of the world seems fit to purpose really. Can't blame you.

today marks the day that, after five years, i finally realized that this album is pronounced as “the see-er” and not “the sear”

The repetition of minimal parts gives a hypnotic effect to many people, I feel.

Swans got a documentary out called Where Does a Body End for any interested. Decent flick bout the band even if the later half feels like a clip show.

The title track is so fucking heavy! It's interesting because shows how a song can be extreme without being related to any form of metal/hardcore.

Word, it's proper fee-fi-fo-fum heaviness (my preferred kind)

Just revisited this last night with some headphones, I can't believe how every sound comes together on this to make such a monster of an album! Mother of the World is still the best thing ever after all these years.

Mother of the World is one of the better songs here yeah

Think I prefer A Piece of the Sky and Avatar over it though, and maybe The Seer Returns
