I feel different about this album every time I hear it, it's definitely excellent but my evaluation seems to fluctuate on repeated listens depending on mood, just not sure I can give a relentlessly aggressive DM album of this ilk more praise.
Nails the hellish atmosphere though, can't fault it in that regard.

Melodeath is a different story. These days, I can listen to it quite frequently. My theory is that it's obv melodic so it's more pleasant to the ear right off the bat.
