I found the redux a welcome change, felt heavier somehow, beefier maybe? Now I kind of dig the atmosphere of this one, might be a change of perspective, or perhaps it’s just the (potentially) more suitable pair of headphones idk. I can’t recall hearing it before with this pair.

I don’t think I’ll ever feel that way about this record.

I have newfound appreciation for You Fail Me and In Her Shadow, but i still think sticking the two slowest songs in the middle of the track list kills the albums momentum.

The record is still amazing obviously but Jane Doe is pretty much perfect in my eyes.

Honestly yeah. It seems like Jane Doe is usually considered his wildest/most chaotic performance (maybe because that album gets more attention in general) but the dude is a straight up animal on here too. especially Heartless oh man
