ehh there's some really great stuff going on in the solos in Datalysium, very neat jazz fusion embellishments a la Allan Holdsworth. none of it is wanky either.

I've tried so many times with this album. I call it directionless because I always find myself daydreaming or dozing off when trying to jam this band or Zenith Passage or any other tech death of that ilk. Just doesn't do it for me lol.
