And why I don't vibe with it. You're bound to feel the music differently when at the show but there's more to that than just the sound itself, emulating doesn't cut it imo.

No argument from me there. You're entitled to feel like the original recording is more dynamic than a remaster that dials the chunk up. Some of my favorite Meshuggah tracks are the ones that are just fat and chunky (Born in Dissonance, Ligature Marks, Do Not Look Down, Demiurge, Rational Gaze).
