Got a spin in last night, and I definitely dig this. Could easily see this growing on me like crazy. At least 4, possibly a 4.5 later on. Main tracks that stuck out to me were This Link is Dead, Radiant City, and maybe Error.

Only lowlight was Headless

Still pretty stunned by all the day one 5s

Valk yes to both, big fan of both of them, but White Pony is my favorite Deftones.

But honestly seeing how the singles have grow on me could see this becoming easy top 3.

eight tracks through and its really solid but not sure why everyone's minds are blown by it, it's definitely top half in their discog but it doesn't hold a candle to snw

radiant city, this link is dead and error are great tracks and i guess would be the highlights, but yeah this kinda gets monotonous after a while. it's not all that dynamic and nothing really came up that surprised me or seemed new/novel in any regard

that average is so not gonna last lol, this probably is worthy of a solid 4 but other than that its kind of a joke considering snw is a fucking 3.9

I loved this album from first listen. Too early to say it is my favorite as Koi No Yokan is a nostalgia bomb for me, but this is easily the most dense and best production I’ve heard from the band. On another note, I never got the hate for Gore that a lot of people had. Easily my second (now possibly third) fav behind Koi No Yokan for me.
