I really like Phantom Bride despite the hate. Also Rubicon, Hearts/Wires, and Gore are my favorite cuts. Plus I toss in Doomed User on my workout playlist.

I love Phantom Bride. Definitely the high point of this album.

guitar tone is fine it's just not mixed well

Yeah the mix is not as good as the previous albums, agree on that.

Production is just very dry and lifeless and holds the album back a lot

it's not that bad jesus, yeah it's messy but I think it complements the overall sound at least for me

Distorted guitars are good yo, the problem is that there isn't anything solid enough backing them, and the whole thing sounds almost clipped in some parts.
