Love the middle to late build up, crescendo. The trancing bass guitar. So mystic. I think I consider this the very first post metal album. The one that started the genre with apologies to Godflesh, Neurosis and The Melvins.

I take godflesh's selfless over Aenima any day. FIGHT ME

Yeah Pure is a better comparison over aenima. Fine, I'll take godflesh's pure over aenima.

Still I find selfless more interesting than pure.

I love Selfless a lot. The electronics are terrific but the transition from Street Cleaner to Pure is epic.

Is it a title track if the titles are different?

I think the names are close enough for even the most pedantic to conclude the job of that song is to effectively be the title track and define the album/climax the album

Yet as close as the two words are they are not actually the same word and intentionally so, which while pedantic, means that it is by definition not the title track.

Great song though.

lolol one of their best tracks no doubt m/ It was title track for me until recently. Too subtle of a change for a butcher mind like mine.

It amuses me because the beat of the song is the same as a cheesy dumb traditional Indian dance called the dandiya. And every time I hear the song I imagine a bunch of Indian women dancing to it and it cracks me up.

Naah. If they had intended it to be the title track they would have called it Ænima, but they didn't. Ænima is likely derived from the word anima while Ænema is a play on the word enema.
