Ok, fair enough.

I think there's definitely an argument for this being one of their proggier albums, though. Yes, there are lots of catchy and straightforward melodies, but in the instrumental work there's lots of rhythmic and structural complexity. Not as much as Justice but definitely in that ballpark.

Idk the guitar hero version sounds like the best by far, even if it is unfinished.

And i agree with Ocean of Noise, it leans more towards their proggier output

Imo even tho the new mixes aren’t as loud, they still don’t sound very good. But i’ve always wondered how much i’d like this with the old school production. I desperately wanna hear “broken beat and scarred” like a 1989 recording.

ooo i can almost assure you you can find that on youtube^^^

there's already a huge community of people on there dedicated to re-creating their newer songs with the older tones and production... and now ai has allowed them to even somewhat recreate james' old vocals.

taht song has the same issues as the rest of the album: starts off great, but is 8 minutes for no reason and should be 5m30s, maybe 6m tops

I agree with these songs being too long (problem with their entire discography starting with Load tbh) but yeah All Nightmare Long is one of my favorite post Justice tracks
