Although i love Jane doe a lot, i kinda like this album a bit more to be honest.Normally long songs are annoying to me, but i can listen through the 9 minute song on this album no problem. i liked your review, and i do think the track order is a little needy, but other than that is just an awesome Cd

As much as Jane Doe is decent (merely decent, nothing special), this album really blows.

Yes this is simply the best album of 2006! Converge do it like no one!

to me, this album sounds like the drummer is just going like YAYAYAYAYAYAYA and the guitars are going AAANAAANANAAA and the vocalist is just screaming random sh*t with no rhythm. It's definetly not for me. I still plan on getting Jane Doe though, I heard "The Broken Vow" and was thoroughly entertained

So I saw these guys a few weeks ago with the Red Chord, and the part in "No Heroes" where he goes "in my world of enemies, I walk alone" was pretty epic live. On a side note Jacob is a wicked nice guy and shook my hand as soon as they stopped playing and thanked ME and a lot of other people one by one, it's really cool to see someone who is so passionate and thankful about what they do!!

You should probably just not listen to Converge/music if that is what you are comprehending when you listen to No Heroes.

I had to get into Jane Doe before I could appreciate any of their other albums. This is the weakest album I've heard from them but its still excellent.

Not Converge's best, but a damn sight better than any other metal/hardcore in '06.
