When I listened to the first 2 tracks yesterday, I momentarily wondered how it would sound if someone like Burial took them and created some long drone tracks. Add some vinyl scratching/popping and you got a solid ambient EP.

I'll never get the argument that says they should not do this or that, who are we to decide? If they want to release a whole album of one of them shitting in the toilet, so be it, you don't like it? Just don't support/buy it...



No one is suppose to enjoy everything an artist releases, if it happens, good for them, if not, well, that's life and taste.



That being said, I won't support this one for the moment...

City of Evil will always be one of my favorite albums of all time, but I'm not looking for City of Evil 2.0 from A7X these days. I'm looking for music from these dudes that blesses my ears with uniquely quirky and unconventional sounds; STATICA fits those expectations excellently for me. The title track in particular is superb.

A7X's career has been the equivalent of that viral pic of that woman with frozen chips on her head.
