All right, finally got to this one, took more time than I expected. A unique album indeed, I'll need a lot more listens to unpack all these melodies. My favorite after the first listen is probably Roots Circle Usurpers. I'd say that the second half of the album works better than the first, but maybe I just got used to its sound by then.
In a bizarre twist of fate, I finished watching the new SpongeBob cartoon just before I put the album on, and I couldn't shake off the parallels between Mister Curse's delivery on here and the way Mark Hammill voiced the Flying Dutchman in the cartoon, lol
