Push Go is the weakest track here.

I really don’t care for her vocal melody during the verses but that chorus is fire

Alot of her melodies remind me of Ray of Light era Madonna.

Halo might be my favorite, just such a good chill out song.

Woah, Push Go's my absolute favorite track here LMAO
That chorus is so energetic, and that bridge is utterly heavenly. Also the buildup that leads the first verse into the first chorus had me on the edge of my seat

i got halfway through the first song and the BMTH worship was too much.

Idk. This album rips. Even the more laid back stuff is good. The Centers Falling Out is just unrelenting, even if does rip off Vein at the beginning.

It's quite funny how a lot of magazines thinks this is an innovative album. Do they even listen to other music? But I shouldn't be surprised anymore considering a lot of them think Sleep Token is the best band ever

I dont think the music itself is revolutionary. Combined with her vocals and melodies plus her ability throw her voice through the grinder like she does, it's just a really great marriage of ideas. I think if she's comes out with her next album and it doesn't expand then yeah, maybe I'd say it's not "innovative." For me personally, I typically don't get into metal shit with female vocals but this does it for me.

I don't have a problem with them liking the album, it's just the fact that they describe it as "pushing boundaries" when it's mostly just BMTH/Spiritbox worship. It's laughable how delusional they are.

That's fair.

I think it might be the BMTH worship holding this together for me bc prior to this her metal writing always had a level of jank that even I couldn't really get past

This isnt innovative at all, its essentially everything from the last 9 years Pop metalcore has done in the aftermath of Thats the spirit BMTH. Which is something i normally hate, but due to Poppy's vocal versatility and previous Pop outings she manages to do something all those Popcorn Core bands failed with: Nailing both sides of the sound and not being good at one and mid at best on the other. This is fun it works for what it is, if you think this is high level innovation need to expand your horizons more.
The fish may have helped her ground this sound but i hope she goes with someone else who pushes her furthur

Yeah this is pretty good

you called from moths to flames generic but yet cannot see it for most of the two generic bands known to the human world. that's pretty funny.

LMTF is just second rate Invent Animate, try again. The fact that Spiritbox are underrated now is just insanity, they had the metal scene in a choke hold just two years ago. Secret Garden, Constance, Holy Roller, Blessed Be are better than this derivative shlock can ever be.

I dont care for Invent Animate (despite many many attempts) and have never been able to get into bad omens or spiritbox. This on the other hand I love.
