They should hire the guy from Many Eyes. I heard he's pretty good

Not sure I could imagine him doing vocals with this band's style of music. Hmm...

These guys featuring the singer from Black Peaks when?

That's very surprising, I know Greg moves on from bands quickly and follows his whims but I always got the sense he was in this for the semi-long haul

If this means more Greg solo stuff I'll take it though, I know TBQ are back at it too.

Everyone is clamoring for Josh Scogin but can he do the clean vocals? I'm not familiar with his singing too well but based on the last couple ETID albums and this BL album, seems like the guys are writing material that requires some strong clean vocals.
Also, I'm just now seeing the Jenna Haze allegations against Greg.

Scogin does clean vocals in ‘68. Not quite Greg’s style of singing but Scogin would rule.

"Everyone is clamoring for Josh Scogin but can he do the clean vocals?"
he's done cleans ever since luti kriss and he also did a stripped back solo project while he was in still in the chariot where he sings really well

umm wtf happened??
the most obvious greg replacement is mike patton but thats not happening so the the two people I thought of that could maybe work in a different way were karl from misery signals or howard from killswitch

I don’t even know who I’d want.
Realistically, I feel like Josh is the most likely. He’s not really doing much atm from what I can tell at least, idk maybe I’m projecting my own personal feelings onto ‘68 but considering he doesn’t usually stick to something for so long, like ‘68 feels stale now, I dunno maybe he’s looking to branch out.
I’m kinda bummed by this because they all literally used the words “long haul” and now this feels like the guys are starting from scratch. Highly Irresponsible and the EP laid groundwork for them to make something truly great imo
It says they’re writing the new album, I hope whoever they get next is more involved in the songwriting. That’s one thing that has always stuck out to me with this band, the vocals dont mesh with the music as much as they could. It’s always felt like they wrote some jams and Greg just comes in and lays down vocals, which seems like is exactly what was happening. I hope it feels more collaborative I guess is what I’m trying to say.
Hoping Greg does a new solo LP next, honestly Black Queen has long been my least favorite thing he’s been involved with, obv nothing touches his work with Dillinger but I love those solo records. The first one feels a little scattershot despite having some dope ass songs and it felt like he really found his footing with that second record, but it’s been radio silence on that front for like four years now.
Actually I’m kinda hoping him and Reba do something. Lowered is a really great song and they’re both so talented.

Carson Pace would be sick but I don’t see him joining another band full time.
