Youtopia - 5/5 I love everything about this, the melodies all over this does magical things to my brain and Oli nailed the chorus.
Kool-Aid - 4/5 Chorus bops, nice bit of aggression to contrast youtopia
Top 10 Statues - 4.5/5 I love the main riff in this and the hyperpop breakdown is mega.
Limousine - 3.5/5 One of the few songs that's grown of me a bit, too much deftones worship here and the line 'get me low like a basement' is super irritating. The bit with Aurora is great though and I wish she was woven in through the whole song.
Darkside - 4.5/5 - Song rips
A Bullet - 4/5 - Aaron is fat, Spencer is cringe, the heavy part in verse 2 is sick and I love the contrasting vocals.
[ost] (spi)ritual 3/5 - Breaks up the album well enough but I'd cut it if I could figure out how to keep the ending part with the 'somebodys coming' door open into n/a
n/a - 5/5 - Easily my fav song on the album, Weezer worship, super catchy, with a song that gets heavier as it goes on finishing with Oli sounding savage. Yeh it's just perfect.
Lost - 5/5 - MCR says hello, song is sick af, Oli just knows how to write catchy stuff.
Strangers - 4/5 - Kinda wish we didn't get such an old single but at least it's a good song even if a bit stale now and not quite as spastic as most of the rest of the songs on here. Undecided on keeping it in the list.
RIP - 0/5 - Awful, I hate this, obviously the Fish breakup was ugly but there's no need to write a song about it and the actual song itself is annoying, I don't like the melodies and the tones they used here are super irritating, this is never making it back on my list.
Amen - 5/5 - Killer, I wish they went this hard in another song though and Oli kills it on this.
[ost] puss-e - 4/5 - heavy edm, I like it.
Die4u - 1.5/5 - weren't hot on this when it came out and hearing it in the album makes me even less hot on it, chorus is annoying and its placement in the album doesn't work. Solo rips tho.
Dig it 4/5 - This has just started growing on me last few spins, it works a lot better without Die4u before it and coming off amen/[ost] puss-e, wish it ended a little better though.
Getting rid of Die4u, cutting up Rip to leave just ending part that leads into Amen and cutting the silence at the end of Dig it improves the album a lot, 55 mins is too long imo debating cutting Strangers too but gonna see how I like it at 47 mins for a bit longer.
I love this album.

Post pandemic Oli has been excellent and arguably the best he's ever been (sans when he was ripping his throat to bits), whoever worked with him during the pandemic has worked wonders.

Feeling a 3.5 on this so far. Definitely needs a few more spins. My general consensus is that I prefer amo but this is more consistent than TTS (even though I'd probably take the stronger songs off that, over the ones on here). Gives me similar vibes to Shikari's latest album in places, which honestly I'm not too crazy on. That being said there's enough fun to be had on this. YOUtobia is a great opener. Gives off massive MCR energy too, makes a change from the Linkin Park worshipping of the previous albums lol.

Nah I actually thought my speakers were playing up in parts. Works on stuff like Kool Aid because it gives me those industrial/2000's hardcore kinda vibes. But I wouldn't mind a bit of a tidier production in other tracks.
