Music having no boundries should also be decently understandable criteria, alas.

Agreed, it's all we could ask for from DH in the year 2024 imo

@bloc: I'm all for bands experimenting. Even if they can't really pull it off, I prefer an ambitious failure over safe-playing mediocrity. Illud Divinum Insanus may have fell flat on its ass, but it was a funny fall. Meanwhile I can barely remember shit about 72 Seasons other than it being long and "Lux AEterna" somehow being the best song.

Don’t really like this album much but got a T-shirt with the cover art at the show the other night and it is sick looking.

Album art reminds me of Black Dahlia Murder, which is a good thing

Suprised this got the specific hate it recieved considering this band exactly ten years ago was making more generic and mainstream music on a level of quality lower than In Flames Siren Charms. And then you criticize this. 🤣🤣🤣 Pretty sure yall just talking out your asses and dont even listen to music.

The album is nowhere near the standards of older Darkest Hour. Undoing Ruin and Deliver Us are superior to this.

Yeah this isn’t offensive at all but I don’t get how records like this or Invincible Shield are meant to hold up against their decade+ old genre defining counterparts by the same artist.

Anti-Axis is a dope track tho, way better than anything In Flames shat out the past two decades

Anti-Axis is probably the best track on that album

take one listen to tranquil or these fevered times and then tell me this is anywhere close to their old material

Agreed. Undoing Ruin is a 6/5 album. This is a 4.8. Antiaxis is a song I like but my point is it is more mainstream than this but people act like this album is trying to sellout.

lol you can't nod to this album and call it their selling out point

as soon as norris left 90% of their creativity went with him and they became a run of the mill metalcore band with the occasional fun riff
