"I'm not racist it's a preference" is a pretty bad one, in addition to comparing himself to Bill Cosby and R. Kelly but I think pointing out individual lines is missing the forest for the trees. His outside actions and words cloud the entire vibe of the album and make him grunting "whore" or saying "she gonna take it up the ass like a ventriloquist" pretty gross sounding.



Genuinely asking what about the review is contrived? Like, yeah, pointing out that one of the biggest stars on the planet being hateful weirdo is bad is gonna play into the album and I'm gonna find that bad lol I am a big fan of Kanye's work and have been to the Jesus is King listening party and two Donda listening parties. I am not looking to hate the work blindly and tried to get that across.

It’s pretty on brand for Kanye at this point to play the victim, I don’t find it surprising that his lyrics are full of mental gymnastics, especially when he’s got so many shitheads whispering in his ears all the time
