Massive album!

Here from your aoty list, this is super spacy, man. Kinda wish it had more wholesome vibes, but I guess space is cold you know??
Dude. This totally goes on my headphones playlist.

Not sure it tries to be wholesome? It spaces nicely though. Very nicely.

To quote a Hawkwind song: "Space does not comfort"

And why is it so looong, it's one of those albums where if I invest time in it, I may miss out on some other albums I might have liked better, but I guess space should engender such existential dread.

I might be a solid year late and only on the third track so far...but I clearly bookmarked this one for a very good reason. Wild ride so far.

I love that this thing is 80 minutes long. The final outro track just seems like a victory lap after the 70+ minutes of glory.

Almost 2 years since this bad boy dropped. It has definitely grown more and more over time, to the point where I might actually like it more than Ummon.

So what are we thinking about the new one? Gone very retro, whereas I preferred their more futuristic sounding stuff before. May grow on me tho

Heard the new track too, and it's clear that the band tries a different angle.

Oh, that's different alright. Not sure how I feel about the vocals quite yet. But this might be a single that shines much better in context with the whole album.

@MTObsidian, felt the same on first couple of listens, vocals threw me off and was unimpressed by the music, but it clicked after a few more listens. Can't wait for the album, mildly optimistic.

New song is fun! I am excited to see how this one and the other fit into the new record as a whole. Slift albums really shine when they're enjoyed in one sitting, so it'll be cool to see what they do this time around.
