Never really been big on the 'racT, but I'm on Legions now and I'm not seeing the hype. Like, singer is good, but the Michael Jackson highs are really weird. Otherwise it sounds pretty tame so far

The guitarists were in a band called Fellsilent before they split into their respective bands but you can definitely hear their influences on each other.
"Burden" has some awesome high moments. There really isn't a bad song on this album IMO.

Makes sense.
Sadly, outside of some moments, this does little to stand out for me. Not bad by any means, though. Defo see why people dig it

can't go five comments without hearing about periphery or monuments or tesseract is better than any of the others, regardless of which thread we're in lmao. then the inevitable comment about fellsilent or skyharbor or februus and we start it over.
That said - "Maybe Tompkins isn’t a Spencer Sotelo caliber of singer, but he’s close"
that triggers the shit out of me lmao

Sadly, I think it's because they're all so prominent in this particular scene, with this particular sound.
That being said, they are all distinct from one another in certain ways, so it's not hard to evaluate them on their own merits imo
