the runtime is working against this a bit ngl i would probably have kept it at 10 songs and not 13 but the production on this is unbelievable. one of the best prod jobs ive ever heard

The album never feels like an hour+ listen to me, most likely because I thoroughly enjoy every second of it.



William Orbit (the main producer on this) is unmatched.

Great review. There's a lot to like here and most of it has aged well, but I agree that the mood peters out towards the end and the album itself is a bit overrated. It's good, but not as mind-blowing as many claim and is boring in spots. Still I like 90's Madonna the best with the trinity of Erotica, Bedtime Stories and this album.
