idk if its just me but there have not been many great 2020s hip hop albums so far... or at least it feels that way compared to the 2010s. album's like denzel's and jid's that got so much hype last year would've been footnotes in say 2015 i feel like.

@Alex: Well, in 2015, damn near everything that wasn’t TPaB was kind of a footnote. Almost not fair. The bar for rap is definitely getting lower though, I’d agree there.



As far as this being the best rap album of the decade, I’d say Kiss the Ring by Rome Streetz and the newest JID record both compete, with all 3 being very stylistically different.
