Ive seen them 3 times and they nail it everytime. Xens vocals are always great to hear but idk how often he is going to be touring outside of Aus. Think the mans got some stuff on his plate he is working through. Tim is an amazing frontman though for the band. This year was the only time ive seen them not play Painters of the tempest, Eyrie is also gorgous live

So fucking sad that I'm missing them here in NYC due to me needing to travel. I never fucking travel and of course the first time in like 3 years is the 1 time these guys are playing in NYC

Yeah they fucking killed it. Such a tight set. First time there were here in 5 years. Halloween show too so they were all dressed up haha. Bassist was in a dress the whole night. Both guitarists were in cheap medieval costumes which looked wayyyy too hot to be wearing in that venue while playing intricate prog death all night. Such good performers.

The violin & harsh vocals are giving me Haggard vibes...which is cool (and unexpected).

This album continues to get better and better with time for me. I still give the first album the edge but this is really, really close

That crescendo in Anatomy Of Quiescence still never fails to make me tear up. It's just plain unbelievable. Same with the final solo and outro of Graal, probably some of the most emotionally impactful stuff they've crafted

Yea the way these guys build up to those powerful moments in their songs is masterful. Very few bands do this as consistently as NeO
