I loved P5 at first but it kinda degraded over time for me. The first half rules but it falls off after Everything is Fine. Silhouette is ass (and I usually like their pop stuff) and Dracul Gras is the only song that really gets my attention after that. Definitely agree with it being bloated, especially since every song has a 2-3 minute ambient outro that I end up skipping. The band works so much better when they show some level of restraint imo. Juggernaut is my favorite album ever, from any band, and it nails the concept they were going for even if the songs are less individually technical.

I just love the vibe and atmosphere on the new one. The last acoustic instrumental is really haunting.

agreed hard there. really like wax wings a lot and most of wildfire and atropos. just so many awkwardly hamfisted pop melodies and weirdly unnatural transitions. new one is definitely more focused in it's intentions, i prefer it a bit over p5 for sure.

P5 is one of my favorites of theirs haha but I do agree that it felt their most unhinged in terms of songwriting. And I think they should continue to do this sort of thing in the future where an image or an idea inspires a concept that provides direction.

man after a few listens talk really is one of their best. great heavy as balls grooves and a really killer hook. shocked it wasn't a single.

Talk FUCKS. Might be my favorite on the album. Carry On is also incredible.

I actually really dug "Carry On" as well. Both their ballads on this one had teeth.

Heaven On High and Talk are the only decent tracks on there unfortunately. Is it just me or are the guitars quieted in the mix and the vox/drums are turned way up?
