“You’d be racist too if you didn’t live in a gated community” -reefa"
lmao do yourself a favor and ask any gay black person what their experience was growing up in a black community dumbfuck.

Listened to this maybe 3x in a row and maybe it was because I was at work but it flew by. Couple average songs but for the most part this was great. Need to spend more time with it.

yeah the highs are really high here. Cut the three lowlights I mentioned in my review, and maybe also Rich Spirit and this would be a 4.5

Generalizations aren’t going to help your case man. Just because there are socially conservative sects of black and brown people, it doesn’t mean they’re indicative of the whole story. I’m a black leftist. I know other black leftists and I know Hispanic leftists. There’s a whole gay/queer area of black and brown that you’re ignoring just cause you have no experience with those.

Pitchfork and Fantano are the ones to really watch for - Pitchfork in particular, my (maybe wrong) prediction is this is his first Aftermath studio album they don't give a 9 or higher to.

dude the same thing could happen in a white community its all dependent on that circumstantial group. how can you say you're not racist when just straight up saying all black people are homophobic and transphobic

careful Million. you're not considering the vast numbers of "those people" that Reefa has spoken to about this. he's something of an expert, definitely knows more than you

I'd say this is his 2nd weakest, just because his first 3 albums are THAT good

The obligatory sput flame war has arrived. Yeah Kendricks probably not gonna drop another classic at this point in his career, the fame went to his dick.

I'm not generalizing. Obviously what you say is true but don't pretend that that's the trend, especially when we talk about the environments most rappers grew up in. To suggest that just because rappers don't use the f slur in their music anymore because it's bad for pr and advertising means that they are not homophobic anymore is just silly.

btw we all need to agree rn that Taylour Paige kills it on We Cry Together, whoever said she won't have a career after this is dumb. she couldn't have executed the idea behind the song better

Alright I bumped my rating after a third listen... the trap stuff is quite fun just wish the more subdued/serious tracks on the second disc were more interesting instrumentally
